Day 1: Arrival In Muscat – Half Day Muscat City Tour – Overnight In Muscat (Approx 50 Km)
Arrive at Muscat International Airport in the morning. Upon arrival, meet your tour guide and begin a half-day Muscat city tour.
Start with a visit to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the Middle East.
Continue to the vibrant Muttrah Souq, a bustling traditional market where you can bargain for handicrafts, silverware, and souvenirs.
Next, visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum, located in the heart of historic Muscat, offering insights into Omani heritage and culture.
Enjoy photo stops at the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the impressive Al Alam Palace, flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali.
After the tour, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Muscat – Nizwa – Bahla – Jabreen – Wadi Ghul – Wadi Nakhar – Overnight At Jabal Shams (Approx 290 Km)
After breakfast, depart from Muscat and head toward Nizwa, the historic former capital of Oman.
Visit the impressive Nizwa Fort, an architectural blend of traditional and modern styles, and explore the vibrant Nizwa Souk, home to a variety of local crafts, silver jewelry, Omani daggers (khanjar), livestock, and fresh produce.
Proceed to Bahla Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) for a photo stop. Built around the third millennium BC, Bahla Fort is one of Oman’s oldest and most imposing fortresses.
Continue to visit the beautifully preserved Jabreen Castle, a large five-story structure featuring 55 rooms adorned with intricate Islamic inscriptions, frescoes, and ornately carved wooden doors. A traditional falaj irrigation system runs through the center of the castle.
Next, explore Al Hamra, one of Oman’s oldest villages, known for its well-preserved 400-year-old mud-brick houses and ancient falaj system.
Drive on to Wadi Ghul and Wadi Nakhar, two isolated villages perched at the edge of Oman’s "Grand Canyon." Witness the stunning depth and beauty of Wadi Nakhar, famous for its dramatic cliffs and vibrant weaving traditions.
Finally, ascend to Jabal Shams ("Mountain of the Sun"), the highest peak in Oman, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon.

Day 3: Jabal Shams – Misfat Al Abriyeen – Bilad Sayt – Snake Canyon – Wadi Bani Auf – Nakhal – Drop Off At Muscat (Approx 270 Km)
After breakfast at the hotel, begin the day with a visit to the charming village of Misfat Al Abriyeen, known for its scenic agricultural terraces, narrow winding alleys, and traditional mud houses built atop massive rocks. The village showcases a beautiful example of the ancient Falaj irrigation system, which channels underground water to sustain agriculture and daily life.
Continue to the colorful mountain village of Bilad Sayt, dramatically nestled among towering peaks. From here, embark on an adventurous off-road drive through the spectacular Wadi Bani Auf, a route filled with steep bends, rocky passages, and stunning landscapes — a journey recommended for those in good physical condition.
The tour proceeds to Nakhal, where you will visit the impressive Nakhal Fort, perched dramatically on a rocky outcrop at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar mountains. Surrounding the fort is a lush oasis fed by nearby hot springs.
Make a final stop at the renowned Ayn A’ Thowarah hot springs, whose warm, sulfur-rich waters (running at 45°C) are believed to have therapeutic properties for rheumatism and skin conditions.
Return to Muscat by approximately 17:00 hrs and drop off at your hotel or Muscat Airport.
