Day 1: Welcome To Cappadocia
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport, where you will be met by the airport representative and transferred to your hotel. Free day in Cappadocia.
Day 2: Sightseeing And Wine Tasting
OPTIONAL: This morning, before sunrise, you will be picked up from your hotel to attend the one in a life time experience – Hot air ballooning. Enjoy the balloon ride and drive back to your hotel for breakfast. At 9:30 AM, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to begin the day. Your first stop is the Goreme Panoramic Viewpoint, where you'll learn about the history of Cappadocia and its unique rock formations before taking photos of Pigeon Valley. Next, visit Pasabag Valley, home to striking fairy chimneys and St. Simeon's monk cell. Continue to the Open Air Museum, a fascinating cave town that once housed one of the largest communities in the region, complete with dwellings and religious chambers, including the Church with Deer, the Church with Grapes, and the Church with Fishes. Then, head to Devrent Valley, also known as Imaginary Valley, for more photo opportunities. Afterward, enjoy a homemade lunch at Women’s Cooperative in Ortahisar. Following lunch, watch a pottery demonstration in Avanos, where you're welcome to try your hand at this ancient craft. Finally, visit Love Valley to admire its unique rock formations and scenic views before returning to your hotel around 4:30 PM. In the evening, you will be transferred to a cave wine cellar to enjoy your private wine tasting session with a local sommelier. Enjoy the delicious local wine and learn about the local culinary.
Day 3: Underground Cities And Ihlara Valley
Your day begins at 9:30 AM when your guide and driver pick you up from your hotel. First, visit Kaymakli, the widest and most enchanting underground city, featuring a maze of tunnels and rooms carved eight levels deep into the earth. Next, drive to the magnificent Ihlara Valley, where you’ll enjoy a 1-hour walk alongside the Melendiz River, passing rock-carved churches and underground dwellings that line both sides of the gorge. After your hike, enjoy a riverside lunch in the village of Belisirma. Following lunch, head to the Selime Monastery, an impressive rock-cut structure and the largest religious site in Cappadocia, with a cathedral-sized church carved into volcanic tuff. On the way back, stop at the Goreme Panoramic Viewpoint to capture photos of Pigeon Valley and its unique rock formations, before concluding with a visit to a local onyx factory for a demonstration on carving and shaping.
Day 4: Farewell To Cappadocia
Enjoy your Turkish style breakfast at your hotel and then you will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport. The trip finishes at the airport.
